In the role of Agile Leadership Coach and Chief of Scrum, Crewcraft had the privilege of supporting the transformation journey of an international energy company transitioning its SAP ERP system to S4 Hana.
The project required significant technology and culture change, and we knew that agile implementation would be a major challenge. However, we were determined to break down the previous waterfall history and silo culture and deal with strict timelines through agile practices.
Remarkable progress has been made since the project began. With Crewcraft's support, the client's 200-person project team has worked tirelessly to develop and apply an agile mindset to the project. To achieve the best results, we implemented several frameworks, including SAFe, Scrum, SAP Activate, and staff development activities for the affected employees.
As part of Crewcraft's responsibilities, we trained and coached project management to develop their Agile leadership knowledge and skills, including an Agile mindset and a values- and principles-based leadership approach. We also led the Scrum Master community and trained internal staff to become Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters.
The journey was challenging but also incredibly rewarding. Client feedback confirmed a huge learning curve in agile practices, teamwork, and leadership, as well as our work's positive impact on the business.
